When More Smart-Lock Models Make Selection Harder

Published: SUPTER

A larger product range can look like more choice.

But when several models are too similar, the range can become harder to manage — and harder to explain to customers.

Each added model may also mean more samples, stock, spare parts and after-sales work.

So before adding another SKU, ask:

What role does this model play that another model does not?

The difference may be price, compact size, design, technology or a specific application.

If that difference is clear, the model earns its place. If not, it may add more complexity than value.
