Smart Lock OEM & ODM Services
Some buyers already have a specific smart lock in mind. Others are starting with a product idea, a function requirement or a market they want to develop.
SUPTER can start from either point.
From standard OEM and private-label preparation to deeper ODM development, we help define what needs to be confirmed, changed or developed before moving forward.
Define the Product Version You Need.
For an existing smart-lock model, different options may still need to be confirmed according to the required version.
Access & Platform
Fingerprint, PIN code, card, mechanical key, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Tuya, TTLock or other options available for the selected model.
Door & Mortise
Door thickness, opening direction, mortise or lockcase, existing door preparation and other installation conditions that may affect compatibility.
Finish & Hardware
Colour or finish, battery type, cards, accessories and other model-specific components.
Not every model supports the same options, so the available configuration should be confirmed against the specific product.
Where the requirement goes beyond the standard options available for the selected model, it can move into a deeper ODM evaluation.
When the Requirement Goes Beyond the Standard Product.
Some requirements can be handled within the available options of an existing model.
Others require changes beyond the current product specification.
Depending on what needs to be developed, deeper ODM work can include:
- Changes beyond the standard function set
- Structural or appearance modifications
- New tooling
- PCB or electronic changes
- Firmware or software adjustments
- Development of a new product version
SUPTER can coordinate deeper ODM development according to the required changes and technical feasibility.
The commercial arrangement can vary with the development involved. A larger order volume may support the development cost, while lower-volume requirements can also be considered where development, tooling or engineering costs are covered separately.
Prepare the Product for Your Brand.
Depending on the product and requirement, private-label preparation can include:
- Logo application
- Packaging or colour-box artwork
- Product labels
- Manuals
- Language versions
- QR-code or app-related information where applicable
If you already have brand guidelines or artwork, we can work from them.
If not, the required materials can be defined during the OEM process.
Use the Sample to Check What Matters Before Moving Forward.
A sample can help confirm several practical areas before a larger order is prepared.
Product & Function
Whether the selected configuration and functions meet the intended requirement.
Installation Compatibility
Whether the mortise, door conditions and related hardware have been matched correctly based on the available door information.
Brand Presentation
Where applicable, whether the logo, appearance or agreed presentation direction is suitable before moving forward.
The goal is to identify important differences early, while changes are still easier to manage.
